  |  | | | Local Heroes membership cards are available at no cost to you. Upon receiving your card, simply register on-line. There you can select the local charity, religious organization or school to whom you wish to direct your community contribution and select what amount you wish to contribute. Out of every transaction, a portion of the benefit you receive from the merchants (minimum requirement of 25%) is instantly directed into the charities' bank account on the next business morning. All contributions are tax deductible. While registering your Membership Card please spend a few minutes creating your profile and selecting your preferences. This will allow Local Heroes the ability to consistently enhance the value you receive from the program and assist us in obtaining a diversified mix of merchant partners while special offers tailored specifically to your profile. Members are contacted only when a special request is fulfilled or preference in your profile is matched.
Local Heroes offers 4 different membership levels based on your contribution level:
 | Bronze Level - Entry level membership $0-$500 in donations to the community. Access to the merchant directory, get personal login and password to edit your personal profile at any time, view your account activity including your savings, contributions, and tax receipt. Get access to Special Promotional offers and Main Event (Local Heroes posting for community related events), access to the Bid and Auction site (where merchants bid on services or products you need), ability to receive extra cards and directories to share with your family and friends, access to the Local Heroes' monthly Newsletter. |
 | Silver Level - $501 - $1,000 in donations to the community. Includes all of the benefits and features of the Bronze Level and the following:
- Increased rewards from participating merchants.
- Increased special promotions.
- Invitations to special events.
|  | Gold Level - $1,000 - $5,000 in donations to the community. Includes all of the benefits and features of the Bronze, Silver plus the following:
- Recognition as a Gold Level Sponsor with a featured editorial (optional) in the Local Heroes Newsletter and on the Local Heroes website.
- Increased benefits and promotions from participating merchants.
|  | Platinum Level - $5,001 and on up in donations to the community. Includes all of the benefits and features of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold membership plus the following:
- Recognition as a Local SuperHero with a featured editorial in the Local Heroes Newsletter and on the Local Heroes homepage.
- Color Lithograph of yourself as a Cartoon SuperHero character drawn by a renowned cartoon artist.
